How to make art appear for PS1 games on OPL (SMB & USB)

First of all pick how you are gonna load ps1 games, following step by step this guide

Convert the bin and the cue files of your game to one VCD. 

Drag the cue file on CUE2POPS_2_3.exe for it to happen or use OPLManager. For games with multiple bin files use PSXVCD.

Put your VCD files on POPS folder and POPS_IOX.PAK which you must you must google it because it is not included

The folders you see here are being created automatically when starting a ps1 game. They include the saves of the games. TROJAN_7.BIN as well goes here, it fixes various problems with the games, so don't forget to always have the latest version of this in your POPS folder.

2. Use OPLmanager to rename the games and download art.  

(you can find various good videos on youtube about that)

Rename all the related art files in ART folder based of how are you goona load the from.

For SMB (Network between your ps2 and pc with an ethernet cable) you put the SB dot prefix before the name. For USB you put XX dot instead. Beware always capital letters for SB and ELF

Create folders with the name of the games on APPS. 

Open each game folder and Copy/paste popstarter.elf there. Rename it to XX.game.ELF for USB or SB.game.ELF for SMB

Create a title.cfg in notepad

Each title.cfg must be like this. Again you change XX or SB based on your load method

Make sure your VCD files are on POPS folder, unless you will get no disk error

Something very important to point out is, if you are gonna load games from SMB you need to have the APPS folder and the contents of them in a usb device. The ART and the POPS and their contents on the SMB folder on your pc. So you need to have a usb stick as well in that case, to load the ELFs of the ps1 games, plus any other apps you might want to run on your ps2. Generally loading games from SMB is much better that loading from a usb device because the usb ports of your ps2 only reads FAT32 format while SMB loads NTFS too. So that means much better speeds and less lag.
